What I read - Leal was the only one who spoke at the end; everything before was prerecorded, and Woodson went back to the locker room after his tribute video played.
I am pretty sure they did not want Woodson talking. Who knows what he would have said.
I never got as much of the arrogance vibe from Woodson that some of you did. He always struck me as pretty humble and accepting that "I've got to get them over the hump" and "That's on me to figure it out" as much as those became cliches. He just could not see or refused to see that his approach wasn't working.
The "true fans" stuff I guess rubbed people the wrong way, it didn't bother me that much honestly, the main issue with him for me was just that he wasn't a very good coach.

He wasn’t a good coach and I don’t think that he even acknowledge that internally. He beat up the sisters of the poor on a regular basis and then lost to respectable programs also on a regular basis. He is getting a severance package in connection with being fired, but he’s not acknowledging that he was fired.
And once again, what did he do to deserve a $1 million raise last summer?
