Secondary market ticket sales

Much to my surprise, when I put all of my remaining tickets except Purdue and Michigan up for sale last night, two of the games sold within hours...the Maryland game sold within 30 minutes. I listed both above face value, Maryland more than 3x of face value, and Seat Geek was recommending prices much much higher than what I chose to list them.

Could it be Maryland fans or Penn State fan buying my tickets? It's possible, but seems a little unlikely, especially Penn State.

I was shocked.

I was shocked.

It's a night out..And young kid don't care. They still love the huge scoreboard. And pageantry that goes along with it.So it's still a good time win or loose to them.
But me..I wouldn't pay anything but face value and probably expect a parking
pass and seats in row 35 or below.
And I've been going since the late 70's.
But unless I have nothing planned.And the tix aren't free.I'm not interested.
I'm barely interested to watch the score on my phone. Or turn the t.v on to watch them..
But good for you. Happy you made some cash !

Maryland game has had high prices for months. You have people waiting for cheaper ticks and pouncing. Consult me before you sell next time I’ll get you max value

My Maryland tickets were also scooped up super fast for way over face. I was shocked. I made $500 just on the Purdue tickets. Again shocked. But the Illinois game, I finally dropped to $15 each just to sell them! Finally did.

It makes no sense !

I'd guess most IU fans aren't chronically online (good for them tbh) and following the latest social media and msg board stuff. They see 13-5 / 4-3 and hope for the best and like going to AH.
