What a get this would be. Montverde McDonald's kid. He's a shot blocker that can defend on the perimeter. A rotation of him, Ballo and Reneau is a nice pivot from needing a back 5. There's 80 mpg at the 4 and 5. With Mgbako there's a lot of versatility there.

Do we have the money for him, Thiero and Koren Johnson?

Minutes are more of a problem than money right now. Stewart would make a great rotation big and set himself up for the starting gig next year. He puts on some weight and he might look like TJD. Thiero would be competing with Tucker for minutes this season and next; would a junior want to do that? Koren Johnson was just PAC12 6th man of the year and will get a starting gig somewhere. No way he wants be behind his PAC peers in Rice and Carlyle.

Would be funny to grab two PAC12 first teamers including the Freshman of the Year, the PAC12 sixth man of the year, and an All-Freshmen honorable mention. Absolutely vulturing the carcass of the PAC.

He has the same physical stats as TJD.
If he wants playing time he can get more at PukES, Arkansas or Michigan.
That being the case he would get more staying at Duke since they have had a mass exodus.

Yeah, we can offer one guy starter's minutes at the 4/5 combined, coming off the bench.

Hopefully a money bag and Woody's reputation with bigs outweighs the vanity of starting.
