The problem: building a basketball team (program). Per the internet, the SC women's BB team has had three transfers in and six out over the past four years. After the 22-23 season, they lost all five starters and replenished from within for this year. For next year they will likely return all but two members of this year's team. As I recall without double-checking, their bench accounted for over 40% of the points in the championship game against Iowa.

Personally, I liked it when we got to see our players develop during their careers and I didn't have to memorize a bunch of new names and faces every year.
