Didn't Kalen Deboer want to bring him in as OL coach when he came here but Allen decided to stick with Hiller?

He is the OC at Washington and is one of the top paid assistants in the country at $2 mil. What a truly dumb decision by Allen if indeed the case. He could have replaced KD at OC when he left for Fresno. Would have been better than hiring Sheridan.

Well, KD recommended Nick Sheridan too.

yes another missed opportunity by TA. but in hindsight he probably would have left with KB anyway.

If DeBoer told you Sheridan as the man for the OC coach, what choice would you have made? Would Grubb have gone with coach DeBoer once again. $2m shows you the difference in commitment at IU and UW. Is there any doubt why IU has struggled over the years?

Sheridan's job was mission impossible with Hiller coaching the line. Bill Walsh would have had a hard time coming up with a plan with that. Thank goodness that is over.
Sheridan quickly ran DeBord's offense and didn't adjust to defenses, that was why he was let go for not adjusting to defenses.

You can think that as he did well in first drives but didn't adjust the offense when the defense adjusted to shut down IU's offense.
I think he had to dummy down the offense so much that the advantage went to the defense. That offensive line cohesion was the worst that I have ever seen.
