RUTGERS!

Nothing like celebrating your enemies' failures when you can't enjoy your own successes.
If you tell me you wouldn't feel the same way if Minnesota was where Purdue is this season and right now, I'd have to believe that you are either a liar or not a real Wisconsin fan. Maybe you're really a PUke fan posing as a badger. Either that, or you have no concept of how rivalries work. Every Purdue fan I know was celebrating IU's collapse last night.

The mere fact that your analogy had Minnesota ranked #1 is enough to make me laugh, but I do get your point.

Games are just the journey. Banners are the measure of success. Each year, there can be only one. Fortunately, we have been the "one" 5 times. You have one more than Purdue. Congrats!

Yeah - but has Minny ever been #1?
The Gophers have never made it to #1. However, Wisconsin's storied program attained it's one and only #1 ranking on Feb. 19, 2007 then promptly lost on Feb. 20, 2007... lol. Only the 1964-65 Wichita St. team earned it's one and only #1 ranking then pissed it away quicker than Bucky. The Shockers lost to Michigan just a few hours after seeing their name in lights.

Unfortunately, at this point in time, we appear to be doing just that. Hate to agree, but to cheer for others failures because we don't have our own successes is not good. If we were competitive with WU or PU right now it would be a hell of a lot more fun. Fact is we're not.

Yeah we shouldn’t really chuckle at pus fail here it only angers people.
Heck our old pal Ordfan is so mad he is claiming that he will personally “bring thousands” to TAH for our game to “pound” the Hoosiers.

of course this is the same clown that claims he keeps a FB parking spot at IU next to mine, so take it with a box of salt.

That'll happen when we haven't won anything in 30 years. Induces fan psychosis.

We’ve won Big 10 championships over that 30 year time period and have gone to two Final Fours. More than what Purdue has done or a lot of other Big 10 teams, for that matter. The Big 10 hasn’t won a title in 22 years!

I'm not worried about what PU does.

you’ve advanced past the sweet 16 once since 1993. Whisky has 2 final fours since that.

I was referring to Purdue, but if you want to throw Wisconsin in there, fine. Purdue and a lot of other B1G teams have no FF’s in that time period, which was my point.
