Maybe I'm old, unemployed and yet comfortable. Prestige over 6-12-18 yrs of "MEH, cast a vote on occasion, make a few news releases" vrs a world wide shit show constant "fight".

@dbmhoosier would be ecstatic if Trump were crowned Emperor of the United States of America, and his heir was another Trump (Don Junior I suppose would be next in line). He'd like all the Trump family members installed as heads of all of the Departments and placed on the Supreme Court. Lara Trump would be installed as Senate Leader (Republicans could be the minority party and she'd still be leader) and she'd tell the Senate how to vote on every bill. Trump would expect 100 percent support for every idea he has. The DOJ, headed by Kushner, would keep everyone in line. Right, @dbmhoosier?

Hegseth lasted longer than I predicted. I expected he'd withdraw by yesterday. Trump's got his replacement for Hegseth ready to go and he's not going to fight for Hegseth so I'm not sure why Hegseth is holding on now.

It'll be interesting to see how that plays out. It very well could end up being Vivek, but there were reports that DeWine was leaning toward John Husted. DeWine isn't a Trump bootlicker...we'll see how it plays out.
