Not sure if they need to be elite to win, but continue to be strong. No reason TJ can't put up 28+ on UW.
28? From what I witnessed yesterday, I'll be disappointed if this offense can't hang 40 on Washington.
I'm no expert but I'm starting to wonder if Cignetti doesn't have a plug n play offense?? It just seems masterful.

Right now we have the 2 freshmen Mendoza and Cherry behind Jackson. Not sure who is first but earlier in the year Mendoza came in before Cherry.

I ripped my thumbnail completely off in a table hinge when I was a kid! Took atleast a month for it to start growing fully back! As long as theres no nerve damage in the finger, Roarke should be fine! I don’t think he would even need to wear any tape or a bandage over it in a game. Hope he is back against MSU!
There is enough supporting cast now with this team to absorb this. We may not put up 50 but unless the defense absolutely craters, he just needs to manage the game.
They have a system. Yes, Rourke has been masterful but this is more about the system than it is about the pieces. If you haven’t seen the system by now and think it’s just Rourke doing it all on his own, I don’t know what to tell you.
Jackson, at QB, put up as many points as Rourke did in his half.
I have a feeling we'll be alright. He doesn't have Walt Bell as QB coach anymore.
Indiana is going to have to lean on the running game and their defense to get through the next few games.

I’ve done this multiple times. It takes about 10-14 days for the sensitivity to go away. Once the nail bed gets hard he will function normally imho.
Post-game radio show...Cig said Coby's drop there in the 4th (which shoulda been a TD...PERFECT pass) was the first drop we've had all year. Unbelievable.

They coach that back shoulder stuff perfectly. It’s insane how good these guys are at it.
I broke a thumb being HBP in a baseball game. Went out to pitch the next half inning and did ok to start. But then started losing my grip pressure with my thumb. You can power through for a bit after. But it catches up with you.
The best possible outcome from this injury is that Tayven keeps us winning until Rourke is back, and then is able to build on that for next season. If he is good enough that the coaches don't feel they have to buy another QB in the portal this offseason, then this could be looked back on as a good thing. It also shows Cherry that your time will come if you stay patient and keep improving daily. Coach Cig hit a grand slam with Rourke, but that will get more expensive and be hard to keep repeating. If Tayven and Cherry can man the QB spot for the next 4 years, our NIL $$ will be able to get spread further. That's my glass half full take on Rourke's injury. I think we win Staurday with Tayven, but I worry about going to play Sparty without Rourke. Make me a believer Tayven!
I was viewing the MSU game as a gimee a couple of weeks ago, but they look to be improving....especially the QB, who has physical talent.
I think it was the second. Sarrat had one last game or the game before unless they somehow ruled it wasn’t but it was right in his hands.
They grade a little more leniently on drops, or more strictly on what they call a good pass, then I would grade.
I remember one the first game I called a drop, and a couple since. But they were not perfect passes, just very catchable. So they must have charged the miss on the throw, or called it good defense.
Pretty good though. Sure haven't been many. And a bunch that the corps made look easy. Helps to have Rourke putting in the right spot.
