He actually has a role in the latest season of Stranger Things on Netflix. No spoilers, but the man has not lost his touch.
I saw an interview with him on Michael Rosenbaum's podcast. There is an Indiana link here. Michael Rosenbaum who played Lex Luther on Smallville grew up in Newburgh IN which is around Evansville. Robert Englund said he lost his virginity when he was 12 or 13 to a girl who had a Bloomington IN t shirt on. He couldn't remember her name but did remember the shirt. They were in an acting group together for kids.
