Hello,
I wanted to say a few things as we got an update on somethings from Shannon Terry this morning.

1. Thank you all for sending in those reviews. They are being heard.
2. Here are some of the bullet points from today:

6. What happens to Rivals fan sites?

They will remain on the Rivals platform, supported by our infrastructure and resources. Users will gain access to premium content across both Rivals and On3, increasing subscription value. In cases with two strong sites for the same school, we will cross-promote or bundle/merge strategically.

7. How does this affect On3 and Rivals subscriptions?

All On3 members will get full read-only access to the entire Rivals network—including premium articles and message boards. The same applies in reverse: Rivals members now have read-only access to the full On3 network.

In markets where we have two strong fan sites for the same team, we will block access to the competing site’s premium content to protect site value and community dynamics.

However, we’re offering a $60 annual bundle upgrade that allows users to unlock both sites in these situations, including posting access on both message boards in approved and applicable markets.

10. When will these changes take place?

The transition will happen over the next few months, with a target date of July 1, 2025, for full integration.

By that time, we expect subscriptions, fan site operations, and backend systems across On3 and Rivals to be fully aligned and operational under the new structure.

I'm reading that as saying you guys are in good shape.

I checked out their list of schools and they have several other large fanbases like ours (Mich, OsU, TN, Penn St, FL) so that is encouraging.

Would you saymore about "In markets where we have two strong fan sites for the same team"? Not quite understanding what that means.

It would be understandable if you weren’t. You guys have been jerked around with changes the last 30+ days, so I get it.

So am I right in thinking that you guys are in good shape? That they won't be yanking the site away from you?

Ah ok. Makes sense. I didn’t know if he was talking about fans in the stands or on boards or whatever
Mainly IU is not good is what he means. Fans are not as hardcore and more bitchy, but that’s what happens when you go from god to peasant.

Boards. Boards have went downhill with the IU program.
One of the things that brought this site's boards down was the loss of so many good posters due to the purdue trolls hijacking every thread. Mods allowed it and the place went to hell. The Football board was moderated fairly well by EZ Rider but the good posters were gone.

It will be interesting to see how the board/comments are this coming year.
NIL just destroyed college hoops.
IU new coach all new players transferring after 1st year.
What the hell happened to college hoops? Seriously is anyone looking forward to this coming IU season?
Got all my IU shirts out when Woodson hired- -back in the bottom of the drawer last year.
Jes' my opinion

I think NIL (or Pay for Play) has ruined the offseason. Instead of being locked in to recruiting battles and seeing what players were doing in the offseason it's all about $$$. Once the games start it sorta goes into the background and one can go back to rooting their team on, but I get it.

I don’t see why anyone would recruit projects. They will just leave by the time the work pays off
Stable established power 5 programs tend to keep their projects. Look at MSU, Purdue, Arizona, BYU, Houston, UConn, Marquette, Florida, Tennessee, Gonzaga.. etc ... for examples.

Mid and low majors not as much ...

We aren’t there yet….unfortunately. In due time we can go that route

Will the whole site be a pay site or will there be free forums like we have now?

Nobody is going to pay for message board chatter. Too many alternatives. Need to offer something more compelling than that subscribers will pay for, or find a different revenue model.
