This will likely be a tougher confirmation than Gaetz. The deep staters in the Senate are all owned by big pharma.
And RFK is owned by people who think returning to polio is a great idea.

As far as your example…who is fact checking the fact checkers? There is info out there suggesting RFK jr is correct.

He also is highly unlikely to be confirmed. Gaetz, Gabbard and this guy are three bad picks. He started out OK.

One of my good friends is a public health executive and he is deeply wary of RFK2 being in this job. I never thought I'd see the day that we have an antivax kook in charge of the HHS.

Gabbard is a good pick and JFK is meh, but they both will get confirmed. Gaetz is annoying and is unlikely to get confirmed.

Recess appointments are made without senate confirmation. Both House and Senate have to be in on it.
Gaetz will be a recess appointment if not confirmed by Senate. I’m pretty sure deals have been made.

The other thing about RFKjr is that he was probably the most prominent proponent of the conspiracy theory that GWB won the 2004 election due to voter fraud in Ohio. This Republican isn’t forgetting it or forgiving that though it seems other Republicans are doing one or the other - or both.
