Retweet from Adolf Titler

Musk and Netanyahu are buds. The Tesla thing doesn’t prove or disprove anything.

Are you troubled by the fact that Musk is a supporter of Germany’s far-right AfD, which condones antisemitism? Are “pro-Israel” and “antisemitic” always mutually exclusive in 2025?
Afd believes in stricter immigration, EU skepticism, welfare to only German citizens, and increased energy self-reliance.

They have been marred by people like yourself for a couple of hangers on with discriminatory views. And because any party in Europe to the right of the Tories is slapped with the “far right” label.

So let me get this straight... people can hate Jews, but also be supportive of Jews at the same time?

You asked if they were mutually exclusive. You cannot be Pro-Israel if you hate Israelis. It don't make no sense.

One *could* be in the sense that they hate the Israelis but hate the Palestinians more.

And one could love Israel but feel that Israel is unfair to the Palestinians. A lot of permutations are possible.

Why would Pro-Israel only be applied to that conflict? If you hate a group of people, you aren't likely to be "Pro" that people's country, even if that is the best of two perceived options in a specific choice.

For example, even if I vote for a Republican, I'm not pro-GOP.

AfD has been “marred by people like” me? They’ve done that job themselves.

Can’t figure out if you’re always aiming for shock value or if you’re woefully misinformed. Or both.

I am theorizing because this is where "pro-Iarael" only comes up. We don't discuss Israel much except in context of being attacked by or attacking Palestinians. Their tax policy, environmental policy, labor policy, just never becomes a thing here.

That is some extremely weak tea. Summation for those who didn’t read.

Some Jews are warming to Afd, others are still uneasy about them due to their past.

Again, that wasn’t my question.

I’m not trying to be a dick. I was genuinely interested in your perspective. I could be mistaken but I thought you’ve indicated you’re Jewish. I’m not.

This is along the lines of what I was alluding to.

Well, it’s technically right.

I doubt that anybody in a tizzy about this would say that the underlings who carried out the orders should have escaped prosecution or historical condemnation. And neither should the superiors.

The whole “I was just following orders” defense has never really carried a whole lot of weight. And with good reason.

Domestic policies for most other countries don’t get much discussion from Americans anywhere - unless there’s a specific issue in the news.

They keep getting weaker.

Do you take the opinion columnists assertion at face value that RFK Jr., Trump and Elon are all anti-semites who support Israel?

Get a grip man.

The more important question tends to be - who poses the most risk? Historically, that may have been the far right wing. And although remnants of that remain (see Pittsburgh synagogue shooting), the prevalence and aggression are much more dangerous from the far left. I don't know enough about AfD since I'm not German, but it wasn't that long ago that Republicans were viewed as the antisemites and now they are the pro-Israel group comparatively.

In other words, things can change somewhat quickly. Personally, I'd rather centrist groups carry more weight in all countries, but the leftist movement over the past two decades seems to have triggered too strong a pendulum swing back to the right.

This is the phrasing that drives me up a wall. Objecting to Israeli government policy does not make one antisemitic.

Objecting to Israel's response to 10/7 is just that. Dems want restraint and unicorns while paying no attention to hostage efforts, including Americans.

It's also around the protests (leftists) and things that have happened on college campuses. Dems were quiet, at best, and encouraging (Squad) the behavior that was targeted directly against Jewish students and/or professors. Jews and Israel are synonymous in many eyes.

No it's not. 10/7 doesn't give Bibi carte blanch to engage in the level of violence against Palestinian civilians he has done -- and continues to engage in.

Keep doubling down on siding with Hamas.

Rolling into 2028 like…
