Arizona State had some of the worst Safety play I saw all year and still almost beat Texas. And Michigan still won 8 games, not bad.
Love to see Cam Skattebo in Colts Blue next season.
They need some backbone!

Their defense will never get the credit it deserves. It should've been a historically good defense but their offense was so awful, the defense was always on the field. They still somehow kept teams from scoring. If UM had a slightly above average offense, they would've won the title. And Michigan still won 8 games, not bad.
Never understood it to be broken. Still don't. " " from where? Some media speculation.Yeah. What did you think happened that required surgery?
"Rourke underwent surgery on his throwing hand two weeks ago after breaking a bone in his right thumb."
Broken Thumb
Never understood it to be broken. Still don't. " " from where? Some media speculation.
Man, it's amazing how stories get embellished in such a short time!...
In a few years some on here will be telling stories about how Rourke played with one arm completely torn off and one leg in a full cast!!
Rourke described it as broken at one time. Said bone was what pushed the nail or something. Maybe I heard it wrong, it was in some postgame lockerroom video stuff.Never understood it to be broken. Still don't. " " from where? Some media speculation.
ha The quote is literally in the link on the post you quoted me on.Never understood it to be broken. Still don't. " " from where? Some media speculation.
I'm not sure what has been embellished? I assumed it was a very well-known thing that his thumb had a fracture. He had screws put in and with his type of injury, you can usually return within 2-3 weeks. He came back in 2. Maybe I was reading things all wrong, but this is the first I have heard anyone say they thought it was something different.Man, it's amazing how stories get embellished in such a short time!...

I also understood it to be a broken thumb from someone inside the organization. That is why they put the screws in. Hard to imagine him coming back that fast but he must be one tough hombre.I'm not sure what has been embellished? I assumed it was a very well-known thing that his thumb had a fracture. Ok, so I'm not losing my mind. The screws are usually out in a couple of weeks and are there to make it heal faster. Most of us wouldn't find any need to go under the knife and would just put a split on which is a longer recovery period. Assuming it was fractured, he did come back on the short end, but I imagine it wasn't close to 100%.I also understood it to be a broken thumb from someone inside the organization. I'm so confused. Are you saying it was not broken? So the two screws were an urban legend? Kinda like Biden not having brain rot or Trump being American first? Like those types of things?Man, it's amazing how stories get embellished in such a short time!...

Maybe it's like a gold veneer grill on teeth. For aesthetics. Especially if the screws were titanium.I'm so confused. Are you saying it was not broken? So the two screws were an urban legend? Kinda like Biden not having brain rot or Trump being American first? Like those types of things?

Graduate transfers are not restricted to the portal dates and can transfer at any time. Looks like he enrolled at UM in 2020, so I'd assume he just graduated.Jeffrey Persi, 1 6'8" 320 OT from Michigan entered the portal yesterday. He's not someone we'd likely look at, but my question is how is he able to enter the portal on 1/15?? I thought it was closed a whole back except for teams still playing??

I heard an interesting theory that with the rev share kicking in next year, schools now have a lot more money to keep players and the overall number of portal entries this year was down and less than a lot of teams expected.
Not an IU specific thing, but an interesting dynamic.
It’s not hard to see these mid majors being the minor league for P4. I could see all the top players leaving each year.P4, might be so.
Read or heard someplace that the entire first team Sunbelt is either graduating or transferring.
I would imagine that is the case for the vast majority of mid major conference all conference players.
