Wait and see. Trump is going to tell putin that all gloves are off and he's going to send so many weapons that AFU will roll putin in a week. That will be Trumps negotiations. Trump has never said (that I have seen) that he is stopping funding just to stop funding. He said he will end it. Cutting funding will not end anything for at least a year, while Ukraine keeps fighting and russia rolls over them. That isn't a "stop to it".
If the asshole does anything, it's always negotiate from a power position! Always.

I think that's quite possible. Everyone thinks Trump is going to give in to Putin, but I don't believe he will.

Now, he may do something like prominse NATO won't allow Ukraine in if he withdraws troops. Putin could save some face with that and Ukraine would get what they want.

But I doubt Putin gives up Crimea.

The most funny amazing thing. I just searched google and face book for other picture of him. Both Platforms "these images are currently unavailable". I AM NOT LYING AT ALL, TOTALY TRUTHFUL !!!

Russia is about to treat Alaska just like Ukraine. They're coming for it under the guise of "we were here first, disregard the 200 years between then and now".

They shouldn't be doing that either, but that really is just a red herring. When foreign leaders reach out to our leaders, they have to have a reasonable expectation to privacy on those messages. Dropping a screenshot or whatever of that communication was bad form.

The Democrat's or their operatives' poor behavior around Vance doesn't excuse Trump doing things he shouldn't. He should not have shared that message like that when he could have just as easily posted, "I have been contacted by Zelensky to discuss the current situation in Ukraine and I look forward to the conversation."

There's no doubt social media is very influential. Young people, in particular, are swayed by what they see there.

That's why Musk's purchase of Twitter was so important - in one fell swoop, conservative voices were no longer being muzzled and the government couldn't threaten Musk like they could Zuckerberg.
