Wow! But should've been IU from this region
Can't help but think that IU should've gotten out of this section of the bracket to make the College Cup, given how it all shook out. But credit UMBC!
Wow, I don't even think they were ranked, so what a huge accomplishment for them. And even tho coaches/players will try to say they don't look ahead...I would think that both UVA and GTown are happy to see that, knowing that if they can get to the College Cup, they will be huge favorites in the semifinals.

That's what I love about college soccer. Unlike football and basketball, the smaller schools can compete with the big boys. The term "mid-major" doesn't really exist in this sport as teams like UMBC, Providence, Akron, Charlotte, etc.. can compete with the Indiana, UCLA, Virginia types.
