The irony in that Cignetti statement last December is that we end our season with those exact 3 teams.

How absolutely perfect would it be to finish the regular season by beating those 3 teams and finishing it off with a trip to the B1G title game in Indy.....as Cignetti also prognosticated we would, while he sat at that BTN desk on Lucas Oil field. The culmination of that coming to fruition in order, in the very end of the season is so incredibly prophetic.

Let's hope he's using this as added motivation to focus. He stuck his neck out for this program and these next 3 games will only further prove he was unapologetically correct.

Picked 17 in the league. Unreal.
Coming into the season, I figured:

Low expectation: 5-7
Mid expectation: 7-5
High Expectation: 9-3
Kool-Aid: 10-2 or better.

This season is literally the type of one season turnaround only seen in video games. Like, I feel like I'm watching the turnaround I've played countless times over the years on NCAA Football. The game against Sparty made that even more so. Negative total rushing yards??? A 33 point per game margin of difference? Enjoying this ride!

That was my thoughts as well. I find myself laughing randomly in the 2nd half of games because I'm beside myself at what I am watching. The math just doesn't check out, which is why I understand how the nation is having a hard time coming to grips with it as well.
