Indy at a minimum host an NCAA round every other year. last time we played a tournament game in Indy it was played at a place called the RCA dome. Purdue Uk UofL have played there several times each in the NCAA tournament. I'm sick of this shit.
Awaiting Lucy's response shortly....Indy at a minimum host an NCAA round every other year. last time we played a tournament game in Indy it was played at a place called the RCA dome. Purdue Uk UofL have played there several times each in the NCAA tournament. I'm sick of this shit.
Kentucky will have 30k there Purdue about 10, huge advantage that we are never able to take advantage ofHouston gets a de facto road game as the #1 seed. Have to travel further than all the other teams.
KY and TN will dominate the crowd. Hope they close Kilroys to keep the riff raff out.Kentucky will have 30k there Purdue about 10, huge advantage that we are never able to take advantage of
Are the games at Lucas Oil? Or Gainbridge? I was thinking Gainbridge.Kentucky will have 30k there Purdue about 10, huge advantage that we are never able to take advantage of
That was odd when I first saw the bracketHouston gets a de facto road game as the #1 seed. Have to travel further than all the other teams.
Cut down LOSAre the games at Lucas Oil? Or Gainbridge? I was thinking Gainbridge.
TN really dominated the crowd last year in Detroit… kidding, it was 80% Purdue.KY and TN will dominate the crowd. Hope they close Kilroys to keep the riff raff out.

Houston's athleticism will be too much for PU to handle. Loyer disappears in these types of games. He's too big a liability on both ends.Houston gets a de facto road game as the #1 seed. Have to travel further than all the other teams.
Houston is way too physical at every position. Purdue will need big games from the supporting cast.Houston's athleticism will be too much for PU to handle. Loyer disappears in these types of games. He's too big a liability on both ends.
Sampson UK Purdue let's go Tennessee by default.Houston's athleticism will be too much for PU to handle. Loyer disappears in these types of games. He's too big a liability on both ends.
Who do we root for-or against-in this game? I'm pretty well over Sampson, as that was 18 years and 4 coaches ago, so I'll pull for Houston.Houston's athleticism will be too much for PU to handle. Loyer disappears in these types of games. He's too big a liability on both ends.
High Point and McNeese St should have them battle tested, the breaks those bastards get, Houston's team probably will all come down with the flu Friday morning.Houston is way too physical at every position. Purdue will need big games from the supporting cast.
What breaks did Purdue get? They played the two teams that won. The media darlings. A year after playing a chalk bracket to get to the final 4. Unless you are implying that the best teams don’t always win in the tournament.High Point and McNeese St should have them battle tested, the breaks those bastards get, Houston's team probably will all come down with the flu Friday morning.
Is there a second bar in Indianapolis if they do?KY and TN will dominate the crowd. Hope they close Kilroys to keep the riff raff out.
Don't really care...but I can't envision any scenario where Purdue beats this Houston team. Smith seems to prove everyone wrong, regularly, but he still hasn't ever beaten a team with guys like Cryer, Sharp, and Uzon...when it actually matters. Even when he had Edey with him. Tennessee last year in the tournament is about as close as it comes. But that was literally a dump it down to Edey game, the entire game.Who do we root for-or against-in this game? I'm pretty well over Sampson, as that was 18 years and 4 coaches ago, so I'll pull for Houston.
they played high point and McNeese st to get to a sweet 16 after being over seeded, get to play a home game against Houston, they caught a lot of breaksWhat breaks did Purdue get? God loves Indiana because He disciplines those He loves.God hates Indiana basketball and is rubbing its nose in shit.
That is one bear hug of love over the last 30 yearsGod loves Indiana because He disciplines those He loves.
Make extremely difficult path to S16TN really dominated the crowd last year in Detroit… kidding, it was 80% Purdue.
There are several. Kilroys is the primary IU bar though, others are overflow. Is there a second bar in Indianapolis if they do?
Looking at other Regions... their first two games were easier, for sure. But having to play Houston, then either Tennessee or Kentucky...is NOT a very good draw for Purdue. All 3 of those teams are the prototypical problem team for Purdue.they played high point and McNeese st to get to a sweet 16 after being over seeded, get to play a home game against Houston, they caught a lot of breaks
That makes zero sense.Houston gets a de facto road game as the #1 seed. Have to travel further than all the other teams.
Is there a second bar in Indianapolis if they do?
No, although given KY, TN and Pu will be there...opossum would be a favorite.Do they have opossum at Kilroy’s? Have to have opossum on game night.
this cannot be a serious question?Who do we root for-or against-in this game?
No, although given KY, TN and Pu will be there...opossum would be a favorite.
no one had an easier 1st 2 games, a sweet 16 yes you should have to face a quality opponent, no way in hell Purdue should have been a 3 and Michigan a 5.Looking at other Regions... their first two games were easier, for sure. But having to play Houston, then either Tennessee or Kentucky...is NOT a very good draw for Purdue. All 3 of those teams are the prototypical problem team for Purdue.
well for starters, holding on to a 4 seed was quite a gift. Then facing not one but 2 double digit seeds, and then landing in their back yard for the S16 game while the #1 seed has to be 1000 miles from home. But aside from all that, yeah pretty much the same path as all other remaining teams. What breaks did Purdue get? They played the two teams that won. The media darlings. A year after playing a chalk bracket to get to the final 4. Unless you are implying that the best teams don’t always win in the tournament.
Thanks for keeping the roadkill off of the highways.Oh well. Just have to keep my eyes open on I-65 on the way. It’s better tartare anyway.

Hopefully the Indy sets up a website where roadkills can be posted. With KY, TN and PU there, the roads should be clean for a few days.
Its very likely Houston comes in to Purdue's back yard and slaps their family around and eats all their barbeque. And there won't be a damn thing they'll be able to do about it.well for starters, holding on to a 4 seed was quite a gift. “Overseeded” based on resume?they played high point and McNeese st to get to a sweet 16 after being over seeded, get to play a home game against Houston, they caught a lot of breaks
Make bad post. Get called out, cry about it. lolMake extremely difficult path to S16
Run to IU board. Glad you didn't slip in the cupcake frosting.
Why shouldn’t they have had a 4 seed? They had a really good resume. It was better than Michigans, which is why Michigan was a 5. Also shows how worthless the big ten tournament is. It should be cancelled.well for starters, holding on to a 4 seed was quite a gift.
