North Carolina has a chaplain, Navy has a chaplain, Kansas has a team chaplain and character coach. You do realize(probably not) that Alabama culture is way different than most states above the Mason Dixon line.

Crean was (is) pretty hard-core ChristianMaybe that’s a good thing and a good thing for the culture of the program. Alabama had a team chaplain for the football team. IU would be fine hiring a Christian.

Well you just made a comment about Bama being different. So I gave you other examples. Having a Christian at IU isn’t going to hurt anything. If anything it probably helps
You still aren’t getting it. What a surprise. He’s almost a fanatic. He’s only coached at religious schools and he’s made a family compound in wacko Waco. He wants to do missions before he’s too old to do them. He’s literally at his spot. He’s not a fit. Never has been.Well you just made a comment about Bama being different. He put on the Christian act to get Cody Zeller.Crean was (is) pretty hard-core Christian
He’s a clown. Interesting to see how he does now with NIL. He like Few we’re using the church to look after recruits and families. That’s all gone nowYeah but the guy is one of the top 10 coaches in the country. I think we can forgive and forget for a stable winning program in return.
Well I might be assuming "hard core" but Tuesday night Crean was interviewing Desmond Bane during the broadcast. TCU had retired his number that night. He was saying something about "talk to your clergy" or "visit your clergy" I didn't really get the full gist of it because I was only half listening but it sounded somewhat preachy to me.No he’s not.
It was one of his assistants, but yeah.Didn't he tell Hanner Perea that he could have him deported if he picked IU over Baylor?
