Just so you know, the metro NYC newspapers have stories about the St. Peter's coach leaving for Seton Hall as it seems the Seton Hall coach is a strong candidate for the Maryland position. The SH AD was formerly at St. Peter's as AD there and the St. Peter's coach was a player at SH. I could be wrong, but all the talk about the coach having one foot out the door would likely have a negative effect upon pre-game preparation.

I don't think they will win it all but they could make the final four. Still glad Wisconsin went down and especially in front of their home crowd.

Any team making it to the Final Four has a decent chance of winning it all. All teams are capable of getting the hot hand two consequtive games. It's not two five game series followed by a single seven game series to determine the champion. It's two one games followed by a Monday night one game. Win or lose, it's great exposure for the schools and something recruits remember. Recruits like to tell their friends they're going to a prominent school, rather than one without recent basketball success (see Indiana University Basketball over the last 20+ years). BTW, kids being recruited by college teams today are younger than 20 years of age. Let that sink in.

I didn't process the second pc of data....considering how Purdue plays, the B1G style in general and their size/bulk, yes that second stat is very hard to believe. Painter is fortunate to have both Williams and Edey and how Williams has accepted his role. Getting Edey in foul trouble only leads to more Williams on the court, and he's definitely the more skilled player.

Texas led the Big 12 in fouls this season so not surprising on on the amount of fouls against Purdue.
