My daughter who I would say has leaned left, but was really never into politics text me today. She was going to vote (she works as a nurse on Tuesday 6am -7 pm) she asked "I know I'm voting for Trump, but who else should I vote for?" Of course I said just punch the Republican ticket. I'm just excited as I battled both of my daughters while in public school about politics, and to know that I lost some battles but won the war is gratifying.

My son voted in a presidential election for the first time as well this year. He and I met up for lunch and went and did early voting afterward. I definitely encouraged him to vote, but wasn't going to push him on it. I was really glad he took the initiative to text me to ask about it.
My middle kid is a first time voter who just yesterday asked if I'd go and vote with her. I think we're gonna try and do it tomorrow after school (if she doesn't work, not sure yet).
She asked who I was voting for and I told her our dead dog, Bruno. She laughed and asked who I was really going to vote for. I told her I was seriously going to.
She has said she's voting for Trump in the past, which is totally fine. I don't try and swing her vote one way or the other... her grandparents are trying to do that.

lol...not really. My brother is the same way. Everything he does and says screams MAGA. You'll join the the Dream Team one day.
