I think Jim is a hard worker and well respected. He does sound just a little like Champ Kind when he gets going.

Jim getting faked out by an April Fools news story about Penn St. canceling mens and women's bball next season on April 4 during his YouTube gig interview with Zach O. today had me rolling with laughter.

Looks like Shannon Terry bought back his creation. Dude founded rivals and sold it, was the CEO of 247, left and founded On3.
He founded 247, too. Is there some kind of play on the name On3 or is it literally the word "On" with a 3? Maybe it's like the quarterback breaking the huddle combined with the fact this is the third one he's founded?

Right now, nothing is changing. The hope is that Hoosier Huddle has done right by you all and can keep going. We did not ask for this or seek out more money. That’s not us.
We covered IU football for free for 13 years, we aren’t bag chasers. Rivals came to us seeking better football coverage and I think we’ve transitioned into basketball well too.
Obviously this is a shock to the system. I love our free boards and the value it can bring.
Keep those good reviews coming and hopefully that’s enough to keep us as the IU site.
But right now, nothing is changing. We will keep people updated when information becomes available.

I didn't know he founded 247, just thought he ran it alongs with some dopey comic book site.
As far as the name, you're light years ahead of me with the huddle scenario. I've never paid much attention to it as there hadn't previously been an IU property on it.
