There’s no shortage of free information out there. Hell you can find about 5-10 YouTube channels on IU bball and they all say the same shit. They all have the same information. Just pick one whose voice/antics you can tolerate. This isn’t the late 90s/early 00s anymore. I’m sure that was the golden age of being able to charge for “inside information”. I come here out of habit more than anything. Certainly isn’t any information on here I’m willing to pay for. I’m good if they get rid of the free stuff.
He came on here and demanded we all join premium bc he wanted to delete the free boards. People protested and told him they weren’t going to pay free boards or not but they at least came and consumed advertisements and content.
He sold to ON3 set it up as pay only and you’ll realize this website is now Hoosier huddle and he’s not a part of it.
Ironically nobody noticed.
I remember when he made the post about everyone moving to Premium and noticed that he sold the site. But, the site is still free, so how did he get his wish? I don't follow.
Peegs did some shit like that back when he sold the site. Kept selling all those yearly premium memberships the whole f*****g time he knew he was selling. F*** Peegs and f*** whatever new site he went to. Never seen it. Never will.
Looks like Jim is now running “The Hoosier” on the On3 platform. I assume the forums over there are paid subscribers only.
Go to ON3 and you’ll see they have a Hoosier website now which he runs and it’s paid only

I just posted a thread over on the paid forum asking a bunch of questions that you just answered a few of. We've been so jacked around over here since Peegs left, wonder if I should just hold my nose and go over there. At least they have some consistency of ownership.

I did the Premium forum for a couple years. The advantage was very narrow. Mostly it was just Rabjohns posting a bunch of recruiting crap. None of that matters if the kid doesn't sign. I don't care about Boogie Fland. What I care about is what can IU exploit in the 2nd game against Oregon that they didn't do the first time. Get me THAT type of analysis and I would possibly pay again.
I'll never pay for "insider insights" because it's a waste of money. These insiders know virtually nothing and what they do know can be found easily. At best they announce something and you learn about it a few minutes later.
People don't want to work a real job so they start a site. It's been done to death. My favorite is the recruiting game where they track all the predictions they've made. Conveniently changing their predictions in the last moment and claiming a high percentage of accuracy.
If they can convince someone to pay for their insights, good for them. Shame on those who pay it though.

In these situations, there are two ways to make money: either you charge for content via a pay wall or you solicit advertisers, or often both. Let's not forget, like Meta, we are the product that is being sold to advertisers, with any personal information that we choose to provide, knowingly or unknowingly (through website trackers, etc.)

I would pay for premium if we could get game breakdowns kinda like what the do on all 22 films in football. Also how about paying premium gets these reports to ask the coaches and players what we talk about or what we want to know since we pay for a membership.

I had a monthly premium membership to Peeg’s for a few months once. Almost wasn’t worth it even back then.
If anyone had real insider info they would be making a fortune in Vegas, not selling it for $1/month on a website.
True insider info will never be shared in a place like this unless leaked intentionally, which does happen.

I don't fault the guy for wanting to make a buck. Regardless if it works, he tried. He gets great interviews and I watch some portion of his show daily, and he truly loves the Hoosiers.
Before you say F him, where's your free IU board? Maybe it brings better value for free? I'll check it out.
He got good guests, but for the life of me I can't figure out how he got them. He's a buffoon.

I think he's a good natured guy and loves IU and I guess there aren't that many places to talk about IU. I'm not really sure why. He gets great guests. Love hearing Fisch and Leary is good as is DeCourcy and Bozich. I think Jim may be one of the worst cases of ADHD I've ever seen; he gets so distracted. If he'd limit those and write down questions and work off that, his interviews would improve. He barely listens to his guests because he's already thinking about his next question.
Said he thinks he'll have DeVries on soon. Had an interview with Sherron Wilkerson on Monday that was great too. I try and listen around some of his commentary, but I don't listen to his show, just his interviews.
Can't do it. Tried to watch once and that was enough. Dude's whole self-promotion presentation reeks of amateurism.
