With the rev share funded and NIL ticking up I think we’ll have some decent capability to be competitive. Fingers crossed.I don’t know about a bidding war, but I think IU should be prepared to at least come close to offers out there.

Franklin is a huge fan of the kid and worked with him on this approach. My question would be, can you trust him to stay. Especially if it gets tough.
Indiana is calling parents if players for other teams asking if their kid is thinking of going to the portal. Is there no such thing as tampering anymore? Our season ended less than 24 hours ago and already we know about offers? ( if this is valid)
Urban Meyer is incredibly high on him as well.Franklin is a huge fan of the kid and worked with him on this approach.
If Franklin is ok with it, so am I.
I’m high on him too. You could tell Penn State wanted him to stay. They got him on the field quite a bit. I’m fine with Mendoza or PribulaUrban Meyer is incredibly high on him as well.
Yea. As fans we're in limbo right now. Not too fun.Hopefully- but could just mean that Kiffen closed the deal.
Don’t put much stock in that. Article reads like it was written by a sixth-grader for the school paper.Another Mendoza prediction article. Didn’t realize he was 6’5” and we know he’s dual threat and able to take off and run. His 247Sports transfer rating is a 93 4/5 stars.

Meh. Little brother will be a RS-Fr. Big brother a RS-JR. It'll basically be like HS for them all over again, I imagine.I wonder if the younger Mendoza would support his brother transferring to assume the starting position. I wouldn't, especially if we play the same position...just my thoughts.
Hopefully that means we get Mizzou’s leftovers😉Pribula just confirmed to Mizzou.
Rumored.Wasn’t he committed to Ole Miss yesterday
Pribula just confirmed to Mizzou.
If that's the case, probably Fernando commits to Indiana. Go Hoosiers.Pribula just confirmed to Mizzou.
Right. And I also think another year with Derek Owings will help the guys staying. Remember, most of these guys have only had one year with him.For whenever in the future we return to the CFP, coach has to build a recruiting machine that can do 90% of the work for the hands on coaches. Recruiting coordinators, etc. Less reason not to be in play for all the recruits just because we weren't done playing. He says one of the issues is needing to watch film to see which kids to get in on. Then there's talking to them, recruiting, scheduling. He'll need people he trusts to evaluate.
Yeah, this year sounds like sort of a downer, but I'll bet next years (2026 ) freshman class will be an upgrade as well as the portal fits from next off season. Also, betting this years freshman class while not ranked very high, is an improvement. It has Cig and staffs owns picks, so I feel good about it.
