Pathetically bad level of play relative to any team Knight had. Even in summer, those guys played hard- they were conditioned to give major effort all the time.
Almost everyone in this video looks like they wouldn't mind losing to an intramural squad.
No wonder DeVries wants to start over.
If there is one guy playing slightly harder, it is Goode, so there's that.

I don't know, I watched a few shots, one of which from wide open barely clanked rim. Looked like mid-season form to me.
Leal normally doesn’t hit rim on open ones. Summer Improvement!
And it was uncomfortable watching Jakai roam around the court. Felt like he was going to snap in two at any moment.

Not a big deal. I get your point and intent…but I happen to know this isn’t true. I played a good number of pickup games with IU players in the late 90s. They didn’t play very hard. And it pissed me off. Almost like it meant more to me, than it did them, for some reason.
Man... Creek before that first injury though. Big balls. I believe his worst game was an 8pt/8reb game vs Pitt in NYC.. I always feel had he not gotten injured, the Zeller freshman season would have been just as good as the following season. Zeller-Watford-Oladipo-100%Creek-Hulls... yikes...
