Only problem is that so far, Trump hasn't signed the transition documents which would allow background investigations to begin on all his nominees. The SecDef is in charge of a bureaucracy of 3 million people. He's got one of the most important jobs in the world, in charge of the most powerful and dangerous military the world has ever seen. And this guy has PTSD, gets drunk a lot, and can't control himself?
I heard Peggy Noonan today talking about this with my future wife, Barri Weiss. She said we need a serious person running that department. Someone who is experienced, understands the bureaucracy, and can implement change if that is what is wanted and needed. I think she's right and this Hegseth guy doesn't appear to fit the bill.

I think Hegseth is deadly serious and, with the world it is today, we need a military that is more interested in winning than equal outcome.
