Penn State also shot like 37 free throws in regulation
I think it was 40. Purdue was lucky to get out of there with a win but truthfully iu fans wouldn’t be happy if their opponent shot 40 ft. It’s a game they could have easily lost.
Only watched last couple of minutes because I saw the score was close. PSU up 2 with the ball, guy drives the lane, and is raked hard across arm. Ball goes out off PSU guy. Refs do a review, so no doubt they all see the foul that all of them missed. They give ball to PU, Edwards scores to tie and PU wins big in OT. Don't know anything else about this game, but atrocious for all 3 refs to miss the call that probably changed outcome. Very poor. Wonder if TV crews discussed that, or just swallowed their mics for Fox/BTN? I think I know the answer.

Heard it was an obvious foul. Refs must have been making up for missed obvious fouls during our VT, FSU and Texas games. But they also shot about 30 more FTs and I think got the call on every single block/charge call outside of the very first one. The refs were atrocious
Refs were horrific, Purdue did get that one, if the games called right Purdue wins by 10, I'll admit, on that one the refs finally gave Purdue a break.
The only thing the officials can review by rule is whether possession was correctly awarded. A team that averages 17 free throws a game was not able to go to the free throw line for their 40 and 41st time in regulation.
Purdue 15-6 (8-2 in the Big10) ranked 17th in the country after losing 4 starters. I wish we were overrated.
Agreed. I wish IU fans would just stfu about PU UNTIL we are beating them regularly on the court. To insult them when they are owning us, is to insult our program more.

If you didn't watch the game, you really have nothing to base your statement on. If you did, you did with crimson colored glasses. That last missed foul was virtually the ONLY call that went in PU's favor. The FT discrepancy will attest to that.
Purdue led all but 30 seconds in regulation and was called for 24 fouls to trailing PSU’s 14.
