Penix on SNF

Michael Penix is making his second NFL start tonight for ATL. I like that he got most of the season to learn without getting thrown right into the fire. I think he is in a decent situation too. His offensive line will protect him and he's handing the ball of to Bijan Robinson, who is one of my favorite backs from the last 10 years. ATL can still make the Playoffs too.
Number 9 also just got engaged I hear so it seems things are looking up for the young fella. Glad to see it. When he left Indiana I think we all knew he had the talent to make it here but I didn't have a lot of confidence that he actually would. Very happy to have been off in my assessment.

Shame that Atlanta pulled an Eberflus and saved their timeouts for the second half. They could've scored a TD before half if they'd still had time to run the ball.

I agree! It was fun seeing his Mom on TV tonight. She always wore her pride on her outfits and had pretty fancy nails every week. Nice family!

For a rookie in his first start he looked fine. Falcons fans should be optimistic about the future. It's good that he gets a couple regular season starts under his belt.
