Peacock Network?

Irrelevant. NBC will not get an additional amount out of me, only what they are getting from the sports bar already. It's not about how much I spend, it's the point of it. And, besides, I go to sports bars a lot already, it's pretty much my main form of entertainment.
Are you certain that said sports bar will have Peacock?

I'm going to bite the bullet and pay for Peacock. I haven't done it in the past on the principle of double paying, but I'm not going to bite off my own nose to spite my face. With several MBB and WBB games on as well, I figure I will get my money's worth. Life's too short to rob myself of the enjoyment of a once-in-a-lifetime football season.

Don is my choice. Although there is an option as there is little country tavern I know that will have it.
Waiting for the day when BTN is irrelevant so I can drop their package and pick up 🦚.
What is Liverpool mentioned above a couple of times?

Nice! Why are you yelling at us? 🙂

I already have Peacock, but just in case the cable goes out, I'm not taking any chances. I'm going to lovely East Lancing, Meatchicken to watch the game in person. You can't be to safe. Go Hoosiers!
I had a side gig for DraftKings delivering coasters, posters, table tents and that sort of stuff for a few years to college towns around the Midwest. I was pleasantly surprised to find East Lansing a pretty cool place. Actually liked it better than Ann Arbor.

No more ponies in the stable...

I can't justify paying extra for a sports channel while I'm still paying astronomical medical bills (3 years of various types of Chemo & T cell therapy plus multiple weeks in the hospital [off and on]... I'm evidently paying for myself and a 100 other people who can't afford to pay anything (got a bill breakdown recently that had over a $1000 charge for "Recovery Room" where all they did was pull out an IV and put a bandaid on me)...

Digging out slowly but surely (I figure there's got to be a Pony down there somewhere) but spending any found disposable income on something I've theoretically already paid for once isn't happening...

I do, however, appreciate the fact that I'm very blessed to still be able to type these types of complaints (which makes the bills palatable)...
I didn't realize you were going through all that. I can relate, my brother. Keep keeping on. With your attitude, you'll be back on top soon.

If I was in Indiana, I'd offer to have you over to watch (assuming you live in Indiana). This game is one of the few games I'll watch on TV this year and I'm looking forward to listening to Don and Buck on the radio while watching on TV.

Liverpool are an English soccer team from the city that birthed the Beatles. All the EPL matches that don't make TV, which is like 75-80% of them, you have to stream. As a Liverpool fan I have Peacock for the additional league matches. Then I have Paramount+ for their Champion's League and Carabao Cup matches. I have ESPN+ to watch their FA Cup matches. American throwball fans got a taste of having to add streaming apps to watch games recently, but I've been doing it this way for years. Before streaming I paid for Fox Soccer Plus and Setanta Sports, then eventually for Fubo TV, just to watch their matches. It's been a labor of love for sure

I still have Fox Soccer Plus on DirectTV, but it sucks. Non-HD Mexican and Canadian league games is about it. Blows.

Upstairs Pub and Uptown will get about any game you want, soccer-wise.

I got the same Black Friday deal. I'm gonna cancel mine and see if they'll throw a discount to come back/stay. It works every year for SiriusXM, so fingers crossed!!
Maybe I should try that ... I think my expiration dates is in between games. Thanks for the brain cell shake for the great idea.
