Already have freaking Peacock, so already contributed to NBC's money grab.I’ve had Peacock since last year. There are going to be a lot of bball games on there this year. Time to pony up!!
Damn straight! You spoiled brat. This is one of those posts that identifies the age gap on this board.
Im not sure on that. I'm 72 yrs old, a sports junkie and lifelong IU fan, alum ... last year I got lucky since I am a cheapskate .. I had a deal $19.99 for the YEAR ... it expires in two weeks and the renewal is $79.99 for the year. After a year of watching ballgames on that channel the $79 was worth it to me.This is one of those posts that identifies the age gap on this board.

I can picture you doing just what you describe in the last two lines. My plan is Radio with the Oregon -Michigan Game on TV with the sound off. I figure I can listen with both ears and I've seen enough football over the years to figure out what is happening on the Tv Screen without sound. And Yes, I am part of the age gap difference on this question. If You would have told Me 25 Years ago that I would be this dependent on my computer for information and services, I would have told You, You were crazy. On the other side of the Equation, at my age (73 in 10 days), I don't have the technical expertise or patience to deal with trying to download things and get Them to work properly.
The alternate Plan is to take the radio and cold beverage outside with Me and during Commercial Breaks, Shake My Fist at the Clouds or Yell at Kids to get off my grass. I'm just ageing so gracefully.
I hope you are doing well and I hope you keep doing well as chemo and fighting cancer is hard.No more ponies in the stable...
I can't justify paying extra for a sports channel while I'm still paying astronomical medical bills (3 years of various types of Chemo & T cell therapy plus multiple weeks in the hospital [off and on]... I'm evidently paying for myself and a 100 other people who can't afford to pay anything (got a bill breakdown recently that had over a $1000 charge for "Recovery Room" where all they did was pull out an IV and put a bandaid on me)...
Digging out slowly but surely (I figure there's got to be a Pony down there somewhere) but spending any found disposable income on something I've theoretically already paid for once isn't happening...
I do, however, appreciate the fact that I'm very blessed to still be able to type these types of complaints (which makes the bills palatable)...
If you're in Btown, I'll come setup Peacock for youMy plan is Radio with the Oregon -Michigan Game on TV with the sound off. I totally agree. I was super pissed when NBC restricted access to the Premier League after providing it for the first few years and adding the "Gold Package." With that being said, Peacock is the single most crucial subscription I have now. It's like $8/month, and you can cancel anytime. I should cancel it every summer honestly. It's a must have for Liverpool and IU sports imo. They have very little content I watch other than sports though. My pops is 78 and he couldn't possibly have setup Peacock for himself. I added it to his Roku and he still has trouble finding the games. I am not making fun of any of the older crowd complaining about this because the pain is real for my pops with all the streaming.
I got the same Black Friday deal. I'm gonna cancel mine and see if they'll throw a discount to come back/stay. It works every year for SiriusXM, so fingers crossed!!Im not sure on that. We have Peacock, basically, because our son is a Liverpool fan, too. It's like $8/month, and you can cancel anytime. I should cancel it every summer honestly. Go try and cancel. They counter offer for 1.99 a month again.Im not sure on that. I'm 72 yrs old, a sports junkie and lifelong IU fan, alum ... last year I got lucky since I am a cheapskate .. Probably because You have done it Yourself.I can picture you doing just what you describe in the last two lines.
Usually yes—all of the games are archived.Anyone happen to know if you are able to watch a replay of the game on Peacock since I can't record it?
Reason BTN doesn’t have it is that NBC jumped them and took it. They really wanted it for their night game, but MSU balked at playing at night since they’ve had three or four night games already.Radio (if I can bring it in successfully)... Haven't listened to Fisch and Buck yet this year so it should be interesting... I'm not double paying for a game I ought to be able to get on The Big Ten Network (on an overflow channel if they've double booked the time slot)...
