Is the parking situation down there the same now as it was 3-4 years ago, in that anyone can pay $10 or $15 at entrances 4 through 9 and park anywhere in the lot? Also, what time will the lots start to fill up for a 3:30 game? Thanks

I wouldn't plan for that. Those lots are pre-sold parking passes. Not likely you'll get in with cash on Gameday in those lots. Grass lots, yes. But Gameday parking is $20. As for lots actually filling up, I'm not sure that will happen.

I don't recall things ever being like that. But I believe 10, 11, 14, and 2 are pay lots. Plus the grass lots south of 17th are pay lots.

My parking pass is in lot 14. They typically allow cash parking ($20) until/unless the lot begins to fill close to gametime. They did announce the week before the OSU game that there would be no cash parking in any of the reserved lots.

There were two games last year when lot 14 was parked full with many cash customers and pass holders were sol if they arrived closer to kickoff. I was lucky enough to find a spot in the grass next to Fee Lane for the MSU game last year. People with passes raised hell and sent angry letters and the late-arrival policy was put in place after that.

If you plan to pay cash to park in a reserved lot, I would arrive early.

Hmmm, maybe it was one of those you listed when we were there a few years ago. I remember paying cash to get in and it seemed like it was really close to the stadium though. The IU site shows entrance 4 is half general admission and half reserved, is that one of the ones you can pay to get in?
