Walton has found his niche as an announcer and the network knows it. People watch his broadcasts to hear his bizarre commentary. Those complaining are not only watching it, too, but also taking the time to post about it on social media. His ratings must be good because the network boss approves or Walton wouldn't be getting paid year end and year out. Personally, I find Walton to be refreshing. Different is refreshing and more engaging than the expected routines of the robotic masses found following in line with their predecessors. "Dare to be different!" is the slogan sometimes heard. Walton is daring-good for him!

At times when hes uncharacteristically aggresive in his opinion (thats usually so extreme in one direction or the other) .. Hes annoying as hell.
But when hes being dumb, (intentionally dramatic or not).. He can definitely be amusing.

I want to see puppets play their parts.
Him and Jay Bilas are really really annoying at times of forcing their opinions on the audience.
Its like having bad back seat drivers...
