Yea Nash only made 1700 3s while shooting 43% from there for his career!! Nash just misses being a career 50/40/90 guy (overall 49% at 49) and has the most such seasons ever--people forget how effective of a shooter he was. His career 3-pt% is still 11th all timeBigger and a better shooter than Nash.
Not quite as flashy, but I think of Pistol Pete.
Nash is the single most impressive basketball player I've ever seen live. I sat courtside at a Suns game...no clue what year...but Cheaney played in the game. The control Nash had with the ball made the rest of the players on that court look like middle schoolers. And the speed and pace he played with...never seen anything like it.Yea Nash only made 1700 3s while shooting 43% from there for his career!! At 25 Hali is all upside barring serious injuries.Yea Nash only made 1700 3s while shooting 43% from there for his career!! Absolutely has a ton of upside still, just to claim at this point he is a better shooter than the guy with more 50/40/90 seasons in history (as well as a top 5 3pt % shooter in history when he retired) , is, well, a little prematureAt 25 Hali is all upside barring serious injuries.
Nash was a great player.
My comment was not a criticism of Nash.
OK Karen..Absolutely has a ton of upside still, just to claim at this point he is a better shooter than the guy with more 50/40/90 seasons in history (as well as a top 5 3pt % shooter in history when he retired) , is, well, a little premature
