Rough week for the Allen family. Less than a week after his brother was shot, fmr IUFB player Antonio Allen was arrested again. I think this may be his third arrest on big charges. Based on the report, this may be the one that puts him away for good. From the article:
Police ... arrested Antonio Allen shortly before 3:30 p.m. at the Goodwill Outlet Store, 8345 Georgetown Road.
Allen, police said, cooperated initially, but tried to pull away as officers walked him out of the store.
Allen, police said, struggled with officers and tried to reach into his pants. Officers wrestled him to the ground.
In Allen's pants, police said they found a .22-caliber handgun loaded with 30 armor-piercing rounds.
You can't say he hasn't had multiple chances to straighten his life out. It's a shame to see talent like what he had squandered.
