46% of all beds - unoccupied.

Even with case numbers triple previous all-time highs.

Commissioner of Public Health says “fortunately” Omicron is sending less people to the ICU. And “We don’t appear to have any danger of running out of ventilators.”

It seems to me that the time to prohibit “elective procedures“ has passed.
As has the insistence that heathcare workers, especially who have experienced COVID-1, need to be vaccinated regardless of their personal beliefs and circumstances.

Or is the idea to control health care costs by denying care? … by limiting the supply of care?
