is that it happened when IU students and players were all back on campus/in class. I'm sure plenty of buzz has been stirred among students with everyone back in their school routines. Hyping some excitement about upticks with the football program helps get more people talking about going to games in the Fall. More students showing up and yelling like crazy on game days are what any coaching staff needs to feed success. This delay in finalizing and announcing the new contract might have some unexpected positive effects, going forward. Anyhow, I love it that the momentum in the program is just so positive right now.
