Same guy that lost 4 out of 5 coming in to this game?….But IU is too good to hire him as their coach. He isn't squeaky clean like all of those that judge him.
I'd be all aboard the Beard train if he was hired. I know that I am not innocent in my past, and I don't try to have that arrogant attitude as some of the posters. He'd win at IU and win BIG!
In fairness, the first loss was at in state rival #15 Miss St by 3 in OT. Then, lost by one at home to 13th ranked A&M. Then, went to #22 Missouri and lost by 8, won at home vs Texas and then lost to the #1 team in the country at home by 10. So, not exactly a great outcome, but not exactly weak competition either.Same guy that lost 4 out of 5 coming in to this game?….
Good coach. Not worth the smoke.

I agree I think he’s there for a few years anyway. He kind of owes them that.Beard would be a good fit for IU. Leaving would show a lack of integrity towards Ole Miss who "took a chance". Kind of like Pearl leaving Auburn. Both found redemption and a chance for success. If Beard leaves and fails, he's done. Plus he just signed a new contract making $5M. Seems like he's staying put.
