He is headed to Louisville so he will not be the coach at IU anytime soon.would be in the B1G for 2-3 years before you got yours.
Or Michigan. He is headed to Louisville so he will not be the coach at IU anytime soon.
eh...I think Dusty May is still a good coach. Some of the best coaches ever have a first round NCAA tournament loss on their record. Some power 5 program is going to be lucky to snatch him up.This is who so many wanted? Never was onboard with this. And he had the officials the whole game. Looked like he got some coaching imput from woodrow.
If the big kid hit just one free throw FAU probably wins.eh...I think Dusty May is still a good coach. Some of the best coaches ever have a first round NCAA tournament loss on their record. Some power 5 program is going to be lucky to snatch him up.
If it were May's first year immediately following the Woodson era, being an 8 seed in the NCAA tournament and losing a close game in the first round would be considered a good stepping stone. And if was IU and May today can you imagine this sight now?
Chris Collins should be at Duke ovef Scheyer. But glad he isnt.If the big kid hit just one free throw FAU probably wins.
Never say neverChris Collins should be at Duke ovef Scheyer. But glad he isnt.
'Member that time CBK lost to Cleveland State? Or Richmond a couple of years later? How about the first round losses in 90, 95, 96, 97, or 2000???eh...I think Dusty May is still a good coach. Some of the best coaches ever have a first round NCAA tournament loss on their record. Some power 5 program is going to be lucky to snatch him up.
If Coach K agreed with you....he would be. There's a reason he isn't.. but we don't know what it is.Chris Collins should be at Duke ovef Scheyer. But glad he isnt.
Where have we heard that before? If the big kid hit just one free throw FAU probably wins.
This is like saying Calipari sucks because he’s 1-3 the past 4 years. Dusty is now 4-2, which is far better than most. This is who so many wanted? Never was onboard with this. And he had the officials the whole game. Looked like he got some coaching imput from woodrow.
I think he was 9 for 10 before he missed that FT, but you’re right FAU had their chances. Btw, he’s only a 65% FT shooter. If the big kid hit just one free throw FAU probably wins.
No, but I can take a guess: Scheyer was on his staff more recently and was generally credited with getting many of the top Duke recruits over the last several years. Collins has built up NW, but at the time K took over, Duke wasn't much above where NW was. Rightly or wrongly Collins needed to have NW on an even higher plane to ever have been considered for the Duke job.If Coach K agreed with you....he would be. There's a reason he isn't.. but we don't know what it is.
Michigan $$$$ primarily goes to football. I don't think they'd pay Cal what he wants or pay for the players he wants.Calipari may be heading to Michigan..
Damn I hope that happens! Will he call in sick when the Wolverines travel to Bloomington?Calipari may be heading to Michigan..
I hear he will refuse to play at Assembly Hall.Damn I hope that happens! Will he call in sick when the Wolverines travel to Bloomington?
So he has that in common with Woodson?I hear he will refuse to play at Assembly Hall.
Welp...Per sources: Dusty May intends to accept the job at the University of Louisville. If FAU fails to make the Sweet 16 the announcement will be official from the two parties by Tuesday.

Bunch of stupid basketball fans on here. This is like saying Calipari sucks because he’s 1-3 the past 4 years. Dusty is now 4-2, which is far better than most.
Did you just pull a randos twitter that @'d one (?) legit reporter to confirm Dusty is gone? It might be true but maybe we should hold off on posting tweets like this until someone more reputable confirms it; that isn't to say this isn't the most likely scenario.Per sources: Dusty May intends to accept the job at the University of Louisville. Then again, it's par for the course for how most people on this forum use twitter. so I guess have at 'er.
If I had bells on my balls the lady's would hear me coming. If it were May's first year immediately following the Woodson era, being an 8 seed in the NCAA tournament and losing a close game in the first round would be considered a good stepping stone.

The list of stupid basketball fans on this board is enormous, and you're close to the top of the list.Bunch of stupid basketball fans on here.
Cal has a N.C. and six final four appearances..
Indiana's next coach will never do that.
Even if he's a home run...
Rick bozich Louisville Journal. I guess next time I will wait for someone more reputable if you could give me a list of acceptable sources to use first. Once you gave the list please send it to me.Did you just pull a randos twitter that @'d one (?) legit reporter to confirm Dusty is gone? Collins isn't married to K's daughter. No, but I can take a guess: Scheyer was on his staff more recently and was generally credited with getting many of the top Duke recruits over the last several years. I know, I know. It's my mistake. The takes on here are getting me testy. I should just stick to the football board where there's high optimism and low expectations. That or one of you could could give me a nitroglycerin tablet.Have you ever read bailey? It's what he does.
Oh I believe they'll hire Dusty. I just think resorting to posting ~400 follower accounts that spit out lukewarm takes and @ prominent reporter to look legit should be beneath posting on here.
I wasn't aware Rick Bozich's twitter was @tubnersworld, the author of the only tweet ever with the phrase "Per sources: Dusty May intends to accept the job at the University of Louisville".R u

Archie 2.0.eh...I think Dusty May is still a good coach. Some of the best coaches ever have a first round NCAA tournament loss on their record. Some power 5 program is going to be lucky to snatch him up.
Nope. May built a program that hadnt tasted success. Archie was actually worse than his predecessor his first couple years at Dayton. Big difference there, certainly in recruiting. Dayton was a bball school.Archie 2.0.
I think May is solid, but I also believe he'd continue the downward run for IU. Archie struggled at IU. I still think he gets 4-5 years at Rhode Island and will turn it around there.Archie 2.0.
Not to mention he's at freaking FAUIf it were May's first year immediately following the Woodson era, being an 8 seed in the NCAA tournament and losing a close game in the first round would be considered a good stepping stone.
