The point of the game is to score and try not to let the other team score. When the ball is snapped, you try and tackle the ball carrier until he is on the ground.

My coaches have never taught that is on the other team to go to the ground, it's on the defense. Just because they're in the victory formation doesn't mean they're going to kneel, it just means they're gonna run another play.

I have absolutely no problem with playing a full 60 minute game. It's my opinion. You have yours. Doesn't mean I'm any less of a fan then you are.

Yeah, when it comes to Ohio State there has never been conference loyalty. Ever. As long as they get theirs. And they will be the ones leading the charge to break up how revenue is shared as well. They are easy to root against.

This is correct. Because OSU has never felt like elevating its conference members, only defeating them.
As far as the Buckeyes running up the score, I understand that the Hoosiers weren't shy in that area a few times this season.

In that situation, you take a knee, run off the field and high-five your team. That's exactly how any team other than oSU does it.

The scoring doesn't matter at all - Henderson had the score and went down on the 2. He could have just scored and no one would have said boo. But Day and Howard had to be DICKS and pull a trick play.

If IU would have done that to another team, I'd say the same thing.

With losses by Colorado, Mississippi, Alabama and BYU, it looks like Indiana will still make the twelve team NCAA football playoffs unless they stumble badly against Purdue. But I hope that Coach Cignetti learned a valuable lesson. You never say that any opponent sucks and you especially don't do that if your opponent is OSU. I have never heard of better bulletin board material than that if you are OSU. The only good thing about yesterday is that OSU now considers IU a worthy opponent but Cignetti needs to eat some humble pie and just shut up.

Every Ohio State friend and family member was talking about the cockiness of CCC, but that’s what it takes to get Indiana out of the depths of apathy , and he back it up. Love it and support the he’ll out of it.

I almost guarantee this is going to happen soon. Offenses get upset when they kneel in victory formation and the defense plays it for real. IMO, the unintended consequences of that play will cause some bad situations.

I agree with Dan; if you're going into the victory formation, it's obviously to take a knee and end the game. To be deceptive in that situation is a bad, bad look and quite frankly, sucks a$$.

Okay, I just finished watching the game for the 3rd time... and the last OSU possession for the fourth time....

Sorry, but there's no reason IU should have thought that OSU was NOT GOING TO TRY AND SCORE...

OSU lined up in the "victory" formation for two consecutive plays.

Watch the play before the score..... OSU was in the "victory" formation.... RB's in close up to the QB and everyone in tight.... and IU was able to stop the QB sneak...


Then, on the next play, OSU was in the EXACT SAME victory formation and scored....

The way I see it... OSU showed IU its intent the play before so why should IU think it would be any different the next play... That's as much an IU problem as it was Day just being a DICK... which he was.

But, looking at the series of plays it was clear what OSU's intent was.
