rebounding technique change/adjustment that really seems to be playing into our strengths.

I give him a ton of credit for that (if it's somewhat true). Seriously I tip my hat to him.

It seems like we stopped trying to rebound the old fashioned way which is getting low, finding a man and blocking out with your hind end, etc. I swear we 'swarm rebound'.

It seems like we send three guys on every shot and start from outside of the key, try to find a lane of space, time it so you have 3 guys slashing towards the bucket spaced out.

This has caused many teams to fail to recognize block outs (because they come out of nowhere) while it has taken advantage of the wiry, explosive advantage vs big, bulky height.

I noticed this big time in the Ohio State game. Their bigs were having all kinds of trouble with us because we came out of nowhere, had a ton of momentum towards the basket and timed it right as the ball came off the rim (if it did).

It was interesting how we sent three in like that, spaced out to cover the sides and the front of the rim.

This is also probably why Groce was complaining about over the backs that weren't called in his opinion.

Anyway, for as much as I dislike Crean...I've got to give him a ton of props for this adjustment (if I'm correct in it).

We have actually taken a huge disadvantage and turned it into an advantage.

Nice!
