Reports of his passing are already coming out, and in fact, being disputed. Nevertheless, he’s 96 (?) years old, and reportedly just had a stroke.

What are everyone’s thoughts on this intellectual giant? H’es not a person that fits neatly on one side of the aisle.

Brilliant man. Didn't like his "style" or persona he developed for himself, especially in his later years. A lot of that stemmed from what I thought was a false premise: that he should spend time criticizing the US most strongly because that was the policy he had the most ability to change.
