New Rule - If You Can’t Count Your Senate Race Votes

i.e. "I couldn't find any link that Republicans for Nevada".
Nevada allows mail ballots postmarked by election day to be received thru the following Sat, so tomorrow. Since they don't have a realistic number on how many that will be statewide, they can't approach a final count until after tomorrow.

Instead of posting an ignorant comment, you might have done the research yourself. As in many states, many of these voting absentee initiatives were originally put in place by the GOP, but they suddenly reviled them when the Dems decided to go all in on employing them in 2020.

You're the one who said you couldn't understand Nevada.

I can. They're waiting to see how many ballots they need to put the Ds over the top.

in 48 hours, you lose the spot - your dumb-ass incompetent state has 1 Senator instead of 2 until the next election.

Same with House Reps.

Snooze, you lose.

This is ridiculous, and gives stupid life to stupid conspiracy theories.

It isn’t 1950 anymore.

Modernize or get out of the way.
In 1950, votes got counted the same day.

Where I voted it was a machine but they added a twist this year. You submitted your vote but then there was a paper printout that you also had to verify that the vote was recorded correctly before hitting a final submit.

Also had to have your ID scanned (secure) and then electronically sign (basically worthless) before voting.
That was what I had to do in my state, I liked it. Secure voting democrats don't want. They need to use this system, but they won't because they like to cheat.

Just a nitpick here, but I haven't seen anything where Florida has counted 100% of their vote.
Also, California has twice the population as Florida. Nevada’s population is about a million less than the city of LA, so they’re the ones you should target, not California.

Hmm, in 2003 Barbara Boxer tried to make this a law all states had to follow:

Not exactly, those drop box ballots have to go through signature verification AND be counted.

It does seem many Arizona people were afraid to use the drop box before election day. That is why there is a belief these will skew R even in a D county.

Now why people choose to go to a drop box instead of a polling site on election day is a question. But under federalism the good people of Arizona have the right to make the decision to allow it and they have.
It isn't the people that do it but the politicians that choose to have drop boxes that people choose.

The Republicans would love to have state legislatures elect Senators. Instant results with complete transparency.

Furthermore with control of 30 legislatures the Republicans would have a filibuster proof Senate of 60 members.

I laughed out loud at the old lady who "verified" my signature. This was writing on the touchpad with your finger, and comparing it to the signature on the back of my drivers license. What a fvcking joke.

Hey I resemble that remark... As I told most people who I encountered at the checkout, my signature usually changed from the way I started signing at the beginning of each shift to the way it looked by shift's end...

I remember my elementary school was a voting site and they moved these huge machines into the gym and we couldnt use it. Didnt really have a concept in 2nd grade what was going on but they were huge. Seems like tech has made things worse or just easier to create chaos and make elections very sketchy

Assume you're talking about the big mechanical machines where you had rows of little levers for each race and you turned the lever 90 degrees to vote for a candidate. Then, when you were done, you pulled a great big lever to open the curtain and that's what locked in your vote.

I never actually used one but assume so.

I'm sure all those woke teachers and administrators groomed the kids to go into the gym when the monitors weren't looking and pull the levers to vote for all the socialists.

For those interested in truth and not political crap, counting is hard when the race is razor thin. It always has been. In a normal year where one party has 55 Senators, no one would notice Nevada or Arizona. These long counts have always happened, it just has mattered in a couple straight elections.
It’s good it’s finally being noticed. Poor Laxalt, it doesn’t matter how large a lead he had. He will lose.

No…back then they just worried about which teacher the basketball coach was screwing.
The only grooming the administrator did was with the “board of education”

4 years ago Arizona was this way and Trump made huge gains. If there is trickery going on to help D's in these states, how did that happen? Biden has a 68,000 vote lead with 450,000 ballots left. Biden won by 10,000.

Or this year where Boebert in CO was behind until Thursday noonish?

The signature on my mail in ballot during Covid matched my signature while the electronic pad signatures on my driver license and at the voting poll weren't even close. There has to be a better way to identify a voter.
