Garrison Hickle 6'4" 320 OT. Transfering from Trine. Played at very small school in indiana Caston high school! Has one yr of eligibilty left. My son transfered to Caston as a running back. They graduated togather their senior yr they got killed by Pioneer high school who' Qb was ND'S star linebacker Jack Kizer. Kid will be a good practice squad guy has a strong work ethic and comes from a great family also has a twin brother still at Trine!

*edited* my bad i was either thinking about the scrimmage or track!

Will be a good practice addition for sure and I wouldn't be stunned if he gets some time.

OT and not to be a d*ck, but Caston never came close to touching Pioneer while Jack played...I'm not certain they were ever within 50 points of them. Nothing to be ashamed of...most of the teams couldn't stay within 70 of them!

Out of curiosity I looked up Pioneer vs Caston from 2015 - 18, the Kiser years. Here are the results:
2015 - Pioneer 78 Caston 0
2016 - Pioneer 62 Caston 0
2017 - Pioneer 52 Caston 0
2018 - Pioneer 78 Caston 0

I would like to know what your perception is of “almost” beating a team?

Pioneer lost state in 2016, then won back to back in 17 and 18.

Yep, they were pretty dominant. Had a lot of coaching buddies and broke down some film with them during this time...it was something to see!

Funny story....I was on the sidelines during a Pioneer game when Jacks older brother was playing QB for them. Jack was in 7th or 8th grade at the time. His brother was far and away the best player on either team and I told my buddy (other teams coach) after the game that without their QB, he probably could have beaten them. He looked at me and laughed, said "well then I'm F'd!" Proceeded to tell me that the kids younger brother could beat him out for the spot now and they were going to dominate the state in 2 years. And they did!
