Most Layoffs Since 2009

Been interesting reading this thread. Shows the difference in mentality and perspective between government lifers and its perception and that of a young Kelley executive operating at a fortune 25 corporation and all that attends: production, competition, laser focused on the bottom line, cut throat path to the top

Your welcome.

Clearly y’all aren’t getting laid enough. Lots of anger on this board. The AOTF needs a revival. @sdhoosier, @kkott, @Coach Pete Bell, @sglowrider and I will provide the pics. We’ll hit the Hip Hugger once a year, throw back some drinks, have some real fights in the parking lot, rinse and repeat. I’d add hookers and blow but I think that would kill have of us off.

I can only imagine what that Kelley must be like. Movers and shakers

Wow, you really put a lot of distance between yourself and bailey777

They say great minds think alike.

But here we also see that dipshits think alike.
In an entire history of posting inane crap this is probably the height of your inanity.

Calling me out for someone else wording a post similar to my original post, but with a distinctly different meaning.

That is some seriously pathetic, pedantic pussy behavior.

It amazes me that some people believe something that is ridiculous on its face. There's just no desire to verify "facts" for many.
You know the job reduction was done without any thought but someone has needed to really look at all the government jobs for many years. Seems like people got a job for the federal government and they had it for life whether they did anything or not.

What it seems like and what it is are not the same thing. I worked with federal civilians for years and even after I retired from the Navy and took a civilian job I worked with DoD agencies on a regular basis in the course of my job and I know that it's just not true. Sure, there are plenty that work there for most of their working lives just like many work for US corporations for most of their working lives. But not all do. There are some subpar workers but in my experience they either shape up or are shipped out. It's not a lot different in the regard that the private sector. We can't believe the notion that federal workforce jobs are unnecessary in general and federal workers in general are subpar. Both of those are false and insulting to the many very good people that work for their country in the federal workforce.

They can and should analyze the federal workforce and determine which jobs are needed and what people may be unneeded. There's a right way to do that and it was done the right way in the late 90s.
