Michigan/Indiana Prediction Thread

34-10 IU

I could see a slow start, but after last week, UM should be terrified about our slow start last week and that CCC isn't going to allow that to happen consecutive weeks. UM secondary is banged up too. We could just as much make it 8 for 10 on 40+ point games.

UM's offense plays right into our D's strength. We get up a couple scores, they will HAVE to move to the pass game more and I expect our D to FEAST.

Similar to last week, I just don't see Michigan's offense having enough firepower to score many points. But, also like last week, I have a feeling going in that they'll score more than expected.

On the flip side, they present a different challenge, physically, than any teams we've faced thus far. If we "need" to start running the ball, we might not be as effective doing it as we were against Washington. And they have some elite level players on defense that could effect the game with singular efforts. With Rourke back, and hopefully a week healthier, IU should be able to react to whatever Michigan presents though.

I think it ends up having a Maryland/NW/Washington type vibe. Competitive in to the 2nd half. IU's overall proficiency takes over late.

34-23 IU.

UM is probably fired up after everyone assumes they will get beat pretty easily. They have talent and play well and we have a close game.

My birthday is Sunday, so I could use an early present.
IU 42-Michigan 14
This isn't Your Dad's Michigan. A QB Who can't throw accurately under pressure, a Second QB Who only runs read option when He is in and never throws. Receivers Who can't run patterns and get separation(except for Loveland), and a run game that comes and goes. Decent Defense but not the dominating Defense of previous years, and a Defense that spends a lot of time on the field due to the inability of the Offense to control the ball.
