I thought of Woodson tonight when I watched a little bit of the game at Mississippi State. The arena there is called The Hump. If we had lost a game there I wonder if our coach would have said " We couldn't get over the hump."

Be loyal in private, don't reprimand the entire fan base on senior day, it's a classless move. The kid made enough NIL to pay off his sisters college loan, while only playing 8 games that year. He should show a little humility, but considering who he plays for, I guess the arrogance is understandable.
I'd assume he already has. People got excited when Galloway said he was coming back. My thought was, of course you are, where are you going to make the cash you're making right now? I really despise what college sports have become, especially basketball. Put names on the jerseys so we at least know who some of these guys are.
It really was a dumb thing to say, especially because at the time he said it, we hadn't bought our players, so there was 0 reason to be optimistic about this season. I think it speaks more to the level of expectations and lack of accountability under Woodson than anything else. But I fault Woodson, not Al, for that.
He's young, making mistakes and learning the hard way. I don't fault him too much. He may have stayed for the money this year (who wouldn't), but he went to IU because he loves IU. Had offers from Stanford and others.
He doesn't address why they stink. I don't watch them so I don't know. That's the problem I have with the rant. The mic slap was a good touch.
I've yet watch any minutes of a ND hoops game this year, or at least I don't remember watching any, so I have no idea why they aren't good. If I had to guess by looking at there analytics, they don't create turnovers on D and give up easy buckets. It looks like they don't get to the foul line either. None of that is good if you're playing in the ACC.

This is why Haralson committed to ND. He'll have the ball in his hands alot and stuff the stat sheet. Every move that young man has made since he was 14 has been very calculated and focused on individual advancement over team success.
