Wanna apologize to you for not getting back on that T-shirt deal... Turns out the National People's Congress (of China) declared my entire factory staff "Enemies of the State" and sent them all west to a reeducation camp where they're having to work for free making schickt for Wumart...🙉
Evidently they were all wearing 2nds of my shirts to work and the Chinese authorities thought they were attempting to incite an insurrection... In reality they all just thought the pictures of the squirrel (P-nut) and the raccoon (Fred) was/were cute and couldn't even translate what "You can take our lives but You'll Never Take Out Freeedddoooommm!!!!!!" meant... I was lucky to be back in CONUS when they raided the place...
I feel sorta bad about that young Chinese American purdue grad that I had hired to run the place... At least he speaks the language and I'm assured he'll probably be released in 5 or 10 years... 🙈
I've considered attempting to restart my operation here but the timeline is so tight for my workforce (before they all get deported) that I have doubts about producing enough inventory... 🙁
Thought about setting up in Mec-e-co but I couldn't find any more p u grads to run the place ; turns out they'd heard about the last guy and were even more afraid of the Cartels then they were of the Mexican government...😖
