the sec built up their coaching ranks the last few years, and you can see the results, looks like the big 10 is taking notice. all the new hires look like major upgrades.
Niko makes it 3 former Drake coaches who have become B1G coaches in the last 7 days (assuming BM & NM don't back out).

The roster of Big Ten coaches has gotten a lot deeper over the past week. Would like to see someone's off the cuff ranking of all the coaches.

Minnesota is not a place where you can win. Little Pitino found that out and is doing fine after exiting.
I started to try to rank them... too many of them...
I'd say Izzo is probably at the top, overall... this year showed he's capable of adjusting, and can still get the Spartans to Final Four caliber.
Bottom candidates I'd probably give to Pikiell, maybe Hoiberg, Diebler, or Collins.
Everyone else is pretty darn solid, and could be in many different orders, depending on the criteria.
There's obviously a big group of promising, but unproven guys like Sprinkle, McCollum, DeVries, Medved...even Willard, who's in the process of "proving it" at Maryland.
Lots of really good coaches now.

Always thought he looked a lot like Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman). Especially when he's getting really animated, he flails around just like Pee Wee.
