Where do you think the rest of journalists go? Graduate from mizzou or Syracuse with degrees in journalism and not do it? No. Journalism is a left leaning occupation as are the lion’s share of outlets from the major networks to NYT online to NPR. As was twitter.
Traditional journalism is on life support. No one's majoring in it anymore. Journalism represents an extremely small percentage of bachelor's and master's degrees awarded, and only 15% of journalism majors go to work in the field.

Just to be clear, I'm not disputing that journalists lean left, but it's a dying occupation. As I said earlier, journalism represents an ever-shrinking piece of the "media" pie. Many more eyeballs these days on social media, podcasts, etc., than the New York Times or NBC Nightly News.
The other/older poster seems to think it's still 1974, when news "media" was synonymous with (and pretty much limited to) investigative journalists like Woodward and Bernstein, half-hour news shows, and print publications.
I think most people get their news online from pop ups. Nyt. Wash post. Usa today. Yahoo. And they lean left. Headlines. Kimmel headline joke. On and on.

The problem isn’t that the vast majority of journalists lean left. The problem is their fundamental dishonesty in attempting to craft or drive a narrative. Think “fiery but peaceful protests” or “austere religious scholar”.
And you can find almost daily examples. Like the ones I posted in the media thread.
To be clear, Fox does it to but they dont reach nearly as many people.

Nothing is worse than progressive policies. And Biden is a progressive. Trump will be done regardless. Then hopefully the Dems realize there’s nothing more dangerous than progressives and find a centrist Dem. Pubs are just broken.
