With the reveal of possible witnesses it became evdient that it's not only Stormy Trump has to fear. His old Buddy David Pecker already has an immunity deal from the Cohen trial, and combined with Cohen already having served time for Trump the two have some powerful testimony to provide with regards to Trump's role in the scheme that dates al the way back (pre Stormy) to Karen McDougall...
Will be interesting to see what defense Trump's team presents. Hope Hicks being privy to conversations between Trump and Cohen certainly adds another wrinkle that Trump will find it difficult to discredit. We know that many in MAGA land will ignore anything that contradicts their current view of Trump, but I just don't understand how they can continue to discount testimony from people who were basically on Trump's side.

Noticed you didn't address my point on Bannon. The fact that it was Trump that pardoned him sort of conclusively shows that it was Trump's own DOJ that investigated and indicted him, long before Biden was elected.

If we are to believe that a well informed voter is an essential prerequisite to a fair election, there is no way the 2020 election was fair.
I don’t know if the misinformation was a difference maker—nobody can know that. But I think it is fair to say the misinformation made Biden’s election more likely.

Atlanta, and Detroit can pull it off. Not saying that’s what happened, but I’ve never thought that fraud needed to be massive. Good frauds are never detected anyway.
There's been politics in every that's all politics including when candidates lie - and both did. Trump can barely string a sentence together without lying. Biden told some notable lies too. We disagree with the prosecutions. Both federal prosecutions are 100 percent legit. The two state cases undoubtedly began due to partisan AGs, but whether he actually committed the crimes he's charged with is yet to be determined.
However, the big lie from Trump that he lost to due to massive voter fraud when there is no supporting evidence was extremely effective gaslighting. We have WC believers of that lie who occasionally post some long debunked "evidence" and can't be swayed from their false belief. Several of Trump's staffers and advisors have said Trump has admitted he lost, but Trump publicly says otherwise to convince his easily duped base that he lost due to voter fraud. It's not excusable to continually and falsely undermine confidence in out electoral system.
No doubt almost all candidates lie. The difference in 2020 and now in 2024 is that the media not only doesn’t hold Biden accountable for his lies, but often publicizes them as if they are true.

As far as the garbage prosecutions are concerned, convictions don’t matter about whether the state and federal prosecutors abuse the law in order to affect the 2024 election. I think the weight of evidence confirms that is the objective, except for the records case.
I’ll never understand how they think their Republican Senate, Governors, and locals won, Trump didn’t. But it was some kind of fraud. Whatever happened to common sense?
