It's all speculation for clicks, I don't think anyone knows anything. Have a hard time believing Brownell would ever be on anyone's radar for a hire. Takes 15 years to have a couple good seasons?

McCollum all day over Brownell. At this point in his career, we already know who Brad Brownell is.

I dont like either choice honestly. One has proven nothing and the other has proved it at d2. But it thats the best we can get or choose to get i guess id take mccullum.
Iowa State wasnt so hot. Four seasons rhere and was mediocre. He is a solid coach in a good conference.
Where are you getting this came from Dolson? You think Bozich somehow plied that out of Scott over a pork tenderloin sandwich? He may have had a source, but it wasn't Dolson.
I've said all along "interview a bunch and hire the guy that blows you away" (note Kraftie: I put the away in there. I know how you salivate when you see the word blows). So, I hope it is McCollum and that's the reason. No one would've hired RMK if they hired the hot name, nor K. Think it's by far our best shot at getting another program-changing coach. Hope it is McCollum.
The perception that the job has been turned down by people on a list that has never been made public with some agent chatter. A savvy fan with a cell phone knows as much as anyone with a "source".

No chance Brownell was on SD list. If he's the hire, it likely means a lot of dudes said no.
Wirh that being said, IF SD were to hire BB over McCollum, he needs fired
